We are off to FRANCE!
On June 3, 2026, 49 members of the A Chorus For A Cause family (64 with spouses and friends) will depart for an 8-day singing adventure in France. We will be visiting various locations between Normandy and Paris, including many famous historic sites. Our schedule will take us to Paris, Normandy, Mont Saint Michel and D-Day landing sites, Sainte-Mere-Eglise ( the first town liberated by American paratroopers on D-Day where we join in a parade and sing in the Musical Salute to Liberation), Utah Beach Ceremony and Normandy Cemetery Memorial ceremony, back to Paris to preform at La Madeleine Cathedral, visit Versailles and other historic places. On June 10, we say “Au revoir” to our friends in France and head for home.
Christine Allison, our director/founder, was notified in the fall of 2025 that ACFAC was nominated to participate in the annual D-Day celebrations in France. She announced this amazing opportunity to the choir, and we agreed to go with great enthusiasm. This trip is funded exclusively by each chorus member participating. Unfortunately, that means some of our members could not attend, but they will be with us in spirit as we sing to honor all those who gave their lives to liberate Europe that fateful day, June 6,1944. Our choir considers this opportunity a great honor and will cherish the memories of this trip together for many years to come. We hope you will follow along by returning to this page often as we prepare to embark on and experience our “Great Adventure”.

Mont Saint Michel - we will be visiting this island city. Very interesting place.

Beach at Normandy - We will be singing at the Memorial Garden and laying a wreath for the fallen.
